Our rescue trains some of the dogs we foster in our rescue. If we foster them, we train with them.
When one of our dogs are adopted, we offer training help at no cost to the adopters. I also send video's of training with dogs to the adopters and give them support with training after adoption.
When we have dogs in foster care, we teach the fosters how to train with the dog so it is more adoptable. Leash training is a huge one. The foster has to be willing to do the training to help with this.
When we were planning and developing our rescue, it was solely based on the health/well-being, vet care, spay/neuter, and most importantly, positive reinforcement (no punishment) training for dogs. I do not have all the letters after my name as you do. I am only an AKC CGC Evaluator and a licensed Pet Partners Team Evaluator. But, I believe that training of rescue dogs can help much more than people realize. Especially if it has behavioral issues. I also believe that most "aggression cases" are an underlying medical condition, which we have found to be true in a number of cases.
I hope this helps.
