    Hello, I just celebrated my first-year anniversary in my position as Director of the Northeast Missouri Humane Society. I feel that I have been doing my best to hold this position. My question to the community is this:  Would you mind giving me the more obscure things that you believe that is the responsibility of the shelter Director? I just want to make sure that I am doing everything that needs to be done.

    The response to that question could go on, and on, and on! 

    Overall, your job is leadership - making sure your team has the tools and resources they need to be successful, and your board has the information to make the best decisions possible for the success of the organization.
