I, too, have set up 501c3 Non-profits for cats, dogs, horses, groomers, etc....You eventually memorized the sequence and its a piece of cake! I use my "know how" to assist others....You don't need Legal Zoom at all! What you can do is find the foundations to "reimburse your start up fees", like I did! Also, you may want to consider a TRUST for your new non-profit.....Best Wishes to all of you!

I have started three 501(c)(3) nonprofits in two different states and never used a lawyer/paid service. Just make sure that you are filing everything in the correct order as it varies by state, and someone at the secretary of state can tell you this for free. I personally think this is an expense you can skip...
