Hi, We are a canine rescue. After years of trying different things we went with a company that did polyaspartic flooring. It's like an epoxy I think, but more durable. There are lots of google articles on epoxy vs polyaspartic. You can add slip resistant additive to it so it's not slippery. It's more expensive I think, and probably needs to be professionally done. I think we had a 2 day downtime perhaps, and I think I remembered it smelled a lot, but our rooms had multiple outside door entrances so that helped. It's nice because you can take it up the walls somewhat too so no gaps. We were only able to afford it for a few smaller rooms, but plan to do more in the future. So much better than what we had before and it has either a 10 or 15 year warranty. Can't see scratches or damage so far. Comes in a number of colors. Good luck!

I am looking for any advice people have on flooring. We are planning the building of a new shelter. We are keen on having a poured floor and like the look of Sikafloor Multidur. The architects and project planners are concerned about this flooring being untested on island and are not sure how long it will last. I am based in the Caribbean and the moisture, salinity and heat affect lots of things. Does anyone have experience of this flooring? Even if you don't live in a hot place your experience would be useful.
Are their other flooring types you would recommend from your own experience?
Apologies for starting a more mundane discussion when there is so much interesting content!
