Yes!! We are a very rural county. Our next county up has a university. Every year there is a class that sends the students out into the world for a scavenger hunt, and always always always, at least 2 of these groups of kids pick up a working dog! One set learned what that little strand of electric fence was! But they did it anyway and got that GP out of the fence! At this point I have the owners phone numbers, if I can figure out which GP belongs to whom. The owners now have "working dog" collars on their dogs, and it does help. I finally had a set of students please ask their professor to tell the class they are NOT to pick up dogs on this adventure in the country. It has helped over the past two years. Possibly if you have social media do a post?

Subject: Graphic about farm dogs
Hello,
Does anyone have a graphic/informational photo about leaving farm dogs alone? We have a huge problem with people in town driving into the country, finding a Great Pyrenees or working dog, and assuming it's a stray. They then bring it back to town and want us to take it. There is no leash law in the county and owners let their dogs roam because they are working. I wondered if anyone else has this problem and has an educational graphic they post?
