Hello,
I am with a rescue in New Jersey, and we have had recent success with a new program that came about almost by accident. We were reaching out to area dog daycares for sponsorship opportunities. The first daycare we were in conversation with is staffed 24 hours a day, clean, insured. As part of a conversation about kennel stress and the importance of finding fosters, they agreed to start fostering for us. It has been a mutually beneficial relationship! They promote our rescue and our dogs on their social media, and we promote their services on ours. It has been working so well we are going to research more locations. The most recent dog went there after five months in the kennel. She was thriving there almost immediately and was adopted within a week after the increased exposure.

Subject: How do we build a foster network
Hey everyone, we are an Alabama based rescue with a network of fosters in SE Michigan (we transport to Michigan). The foster network was inherited from another rescue. We are trying to build a new network of fosters in NW Michigan and wondering if you have success stories about how you've built a foster network in a new community.
