We've had various protocols over the year. We did as short as 3 months with disinfecting multiple times but since we've had staffing changes, we went to 2 years (!!) with multiple disinfecting. Last year, we lost many foster homes, my home included, so we did some investigating and talking to virologists. Our current protocol is 6-12 months depending on the flooring/furnishings where the kittens spent time. We had some houses that let the kittens all over the house and all over the furniture so they're 12 months and we give them Rescue to disinfect. For homes with sealed concrete, tile with sealed grout, and vinyl, the length of time is 6 months with 3 separate disinfecting with Rescue. If we have foster homes with parvovirus and the pups have been outside, we will make those homes only safe for fully vaccinated dogs and pups or puppies that are post-parvo. As the virologist told us, it's such a hard virus to kill that you never can be sure the place is safe so the difference in 3 full cleans over a few days vs 3 full cleans and 6-12 months is about the same but he felt it was just safer having the longer quarantine!! I think this is a situation that if you ask 100 people, you'll get 100 different answers so you need to do what's safest for your situation.
Good luck!

Subject: How to handle foster homes after a feline panleukopenia
Hi guys! What do people do with foster homes after a panleuk diagnosis?
Our current policy is no kittens for a minimum of 1 yr. Just really hitting our foster homes this year!
Thoughts?
