Our senior dog rescue is constantly striving to enhance the care and well-being of the dogs under our guardianship. To achieve this goal, we have implemented an efficient and innovative approach to mobilize our volunteer dog walkers: electric scooters!!! First, it has enhanced accessibility by allowing volunteers to cover more ground, attracting those who couldn't commit to walking long distances. Second, it enables volunteers to walk more dogs in less time, appealing to those with limited availability. Third, the fun factor of riding scooters can attract individuals seeing a unique volunteering experience. Lastly, it creates a marketing opportunity, as the novelty of using scooters generates interest and draws in new volunteers intrigued by the innovative approach.

In this forum discussion, let's explore the feasibility and benefits of integrating scooters in your volunteer program.
