Hi Julilana,
Thank you so much for the kind note! I am always excited to hear about the use of the book to help shape young minds and, hopefully, make its way home to living rooms as well.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford to send books to organizations at no cost. I make no money off of them and have to put everything I make back into getting more books out there. I did have a relationship with an organization that provided books as a part of their outreach program. In that case, they purchased 300 of them to give away to children at their events. That was corporate money and put under their marketing budget. Do you have any connections with Animal advocates who might underwrite getting set of books over to you? That is my fondest dream but I have quite literally nothing to spare. I have not taken income since 2016 in order to prioritize the mission of Wagtown. Please please please let me know if you find a way to get more Tucker books into the places where they are most needed.
My nonprofit is hosting an event in October called the dog friendly summit. I hope to find a "book sponsor" to help. If that should happen, it will be a win for all of us – especially the dogs.
Thank you so much again for purchasing the book and sharing the story. I really appreciate it. I only wish that I could help more.
That being said, I do have a free curriculum that is available through PBS learning media anywhere in the world. It does include a reading by me. Let me know if that would be helpful to you to supplement education resources. It is a weeklong program and includes extension activities and take home materials.

Hi Beth,
I am so excited that you are the creator of Tucker children's book. I purchased it last year for the humane education program of my nonprofit. The goal of the program is to teach empathy and compassion to young children through animal stories. I wanted to add books about "pit bulls" to my curriculum and was ecstatic to find your book. I searched the internet and only found 3 including yours. I would appreciate it if you could recommend other titles in which the main character is a pitty. In addition to the humane education, I plan to launch a free Lending Library for kids and carry books about being kind to animals. Would it be possible for us to get free copies of your book? Your support kit is fantastic. TIA for your advice.
