We are a registered 501(c)(3) that has 38 acres and three boarding buildings and a thrift store in the neighboring town. We are located about 45 minutes south of the city of Charlotte, North Carolina in Lancaster, South Carolina. Our founder is 73 years old and is looking to retire and would like to hand the Rescue off to someone who could make this place grow and flourish.

She always wanted this place to and up being like Best friends animal sanctuary in Utah.

We did contact them but because they are on the other side of the US they do not feel that they would be able to take us over. But they were very interested, as we have a lot to offer.

We only have 20 dogs right now on site that are all adoptable and have four cat kennels at our local Petco that is run by an amazing volunteer group. we have 11 years left on the mortgage of this property which is only $4000 a month. We are in the green and have a healthy savings. We have thrift store with three buildings that is run solely by volunteers four days a week that does a great business. We also use two of our buildings for boarding that is full during the summer and holidays that brings in supplemental money also.

We are looking for a single person or a group of people with the knowledge and know how to make this place great. We do not want to shut the doors, but if no one steps up within the next 4 to 6 months, that is what may happen.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or you can contact me directly at 803-431-4075. That is our Rescue cell number.
