Jennifer,
To say sorry for your loss would be a gross understatement. Losing a beloved companion is the price we pay for the time well spent with them.
Can you call around to other vets, or ask friends or acquaintances, various social groups for their thoughts? $300 for this service is outrageous, especially for an office you've patronized in the past.
You will find an ally, I'm sure.

Subject: Low Income Euthanasia & Cremation Service
Hello,
My sweet 10 yr old Samoyed, Kenna James, is unfortunately ready to be put down. I'm struggling with it as she is so sweet and looks so happy when given attention. I have seen a rapid decline in her ability to get up, walk, climb stairs or go down steps, even just to go outside to potty. She's lost all teeth on her upper right side and her front top two teeth as well. She's covered in fatty masses and hard cysts all over her body and I do have them checked at the vet regularly and they were all benign tumors, lipomas or cysts but we did have a cancer scare when she was 5 and I'm afraid one or many might be malignant now. She's moving slower each day and to can see the look in her eyes has changed, too. It's heartbreaking. I'm hoping you can give me some guidance on helping with the euthanasia fees and cremation service. If you know of anyone who can help, please let me know asap. I hate to see her suffer. My veterinarian charges over $300 for her euthanasia alone plus an ungodly amount for both communal & private (return of ashes ONLY - no urn) cremation. I cannot afford that.
If you know of any assistance programs/grants/funds for low income households or just advice in general, please reach out!
Thank you,
Jennifer
