Does anyone have a protocol for dog adoption with a mast cell tumor confirmed by FNA? We do not have the means to have the tumors (2 confirmed and a possible 3rd) removed or sent off for histopath. The dog's current options are adopt out as-is, rescue transfer, or euthanasia. At the current moment it is looking like euthanasia since we have not found any interested rescues and staff medical knowledge to counsel on MCT is little to none . Any suggestions or advice are appreciated to try and get this dog a positive outcome. He is otherwise young, healthy (does have happy tail), friendly, and dog social.
