    Four years ago I received a card with the above printed on the front cover. What I(we) did for the person who returned our kindness is less important than the Circle we all created together. Ultimately, what I did for him is what I hoped someone would have done for me.

    Some argue that all acts of generosity contain some degree of selfness and even narcissism. And maybe there is some truth to that. But for me, at the least the me I'm conscious of, I simply detest -Unnecessary- suffrage, and so I'm determined to -Disrupt- the wastefulness and cruelty that lives alongside Injustice.

    I say all that to give context to this heart-filled – Thank You to Maddie's Fund – for recognizing my work, and in many ways celebrating my life.

    I also want to thank everyone for "Showing Up" – Uva Coles, MSM, OL, at The Gathering, where the Avanzino Award Leadership Award was presented to me. The Gathering was for me, a sampling of what heaven is rumored to be like. Warm, Giving, Accepting, and centered with Love. And while I don't believe in utopias, The Gathering was evidence that we can do better and that we are Stronger Together in the doing.

    So from a full soul, filled with gratitude … 
    May Kindness Return to You All in the same Beautiful Way that it was Given.
