We live in a large military area and am looking to create more programs (and apply for grants to support funding) surrounding them; whether it be support and pet retention, volunteer opportunities, adoption specials, veteran assistance and more.

That's an amazing initiative, Aly! Creating programs that support both military families and animals is such a meaningful cause. Have you looked into partnerships with organizations like Pets for Patriots or local veteran groups? They might align perfectly with your goals and help with funding opportunities!
