Missing My Dog and Considering Getting an ESA Letter. Has Anyone Tried MyESALetter.com?

    Hi everyone,
I recently moved from Oregon to Texas for a new job, and honestly, the transition has been tougher than I expected. I had to leave my dog, Milo, with my mom back in Oregon because my new apartment doesn't allow pets. At first, I thought it would be temporary, but it's been months now and I really miss him.

The hardest part is that my mom works long hours and barely has time to give him the attention he's used to. She loves him, of course, but Milo has always been the kind of dog that needs a lot of affection and company. I feel awful knowing he's alone most of the day, and honestly, it's been affecting me too. My anxiety has been worse since I've been here, it just doesn't feel right without him around.

A neighbour in my building mentioned that she got her ESA letter online from MyESALetter.com and said it helped her bring her cat into the apartment without any issues. I've been thinking about doing the same, but I'm not sure how legit or recognised these online services actually are, especially when it comes to Texas laws around emotional support animals.

Has anyone here gone through this process with MyESALetter.com or any other service? I just want to make sure I'm doing this the right way because I really want to bring Milo here with me. He's not just a pet, he's been my emotional support for years, and being apart from him has been really hard.

Would appreciate any honest advice or experiences.

    Thanks so much.

I trained my dog for mobility assistance due to a serious back injury that can't be fixed.  Be very careful using any online service for an ESA letter.  Most places know these places aren't legit.  I know it's sooo hard when you need your pet.  It is easier to get landlords  to approve a cat  because they stay in your home and don't cause "damage" like a dog.  I'm not trying to get into your personal business,  judge you, or tell you want to do, but you should see a doctor about your anxiety.  After a couple months of treatment when you're not experienceing any relief, you can ask your doctor about ESAs and ask if  you might benefit from having one.  Your doctor can write a letter for you sainig you should have an ESA.  Don't mention it immediately or your doc will know that's your end goal and be hesitant to write the letter.     It's  more legit coming from a doctor you have seen in person vs an online doctor.   You would't believe the hoops I had to jump through to bring my dog to work with me and I worked for the federal government at the time.  You would think the organization that investigates volations of a person's civil rights woudn't violate my civil rights, but they did.  Our situations are completely different, but what's the same is the need to have our dog with us for the individual support we need.  Good luck.  I hope you are reunited with your pet soon.
