Our shelter is focusing on improvements we can make to our adoptions process (specifically a reduction in wait times), including a foster-to-adopt program, facilitated adoptions, as well as the standard adoption process and I'm reaching out for some help. Please respond back to me at leslied@thehumanesociety.org or as a response to this thread, if you can answer any of the following:
1.) Can you share your adoption process flowcharts for your organization, which has served your team well?
2.) how long of a wait time your adopters have before they are able to meet with an adoption specialist?
3.) how much time it takes for the actual adoption to be completed (ie., the time between an adopter is paired up with an adoption specialist until outcome of an adoption)?
4.) How many adoptions do you perform annually?
5.) How many employees are on your adoptions team?
Bonus points if you have a time tracking tool that you love and would recommend!
