Malena DeMartini and a team of Certified Separation Anxiety Trainers have developed some free resources to support shelters and rescues in caring for dogs with separation anxiety from intake through adoption. I wanted to share those resources here, which you can download from this webpage: Support for Shelters and Rescues.

These resources were informed by conversations and a survey we launched last fall to learn more about the types of supports shelters and rescues providing for dogs with this behavior issue would find most helpful. We're continuing to collect feedback about additional resources or ways we can support shelter and rescues in this work if you'd like to share that with us here: Supporting Shelters and Rescues.

What a great resource! The topic on how to be transparent on a dog's bio with separation anxiety is extremely useful. It shows transparency about a dog's anxiety issues but also offers "hope" and solutions. Thank you.
