  • 1.  New Volunteer Programming

    Hello! 

    Anybody have opinions on what is the best volunteer program to use? We are a shelter who has around 650 current profiles and need to make sure whatever program we use is easy for volunteers to use to sign up and easy for staff to see the schedule, preferably without having to login each time. Currently using Volgistics and it's not great.

    Oh my ...you are fortunate to have so many folks involved!. We are small, rural and cannot sustain even  a handful of consistent volunteers for anything. not for the lack of trying. It is a local problem. Several local non profits compete for the spare time of a small pool of  candidates.

    We used to use Volgistics and switched to Better Impact.

    Have you been able to do bulk text messaging using Better Impact?  We have the standard version so not many bells / whistles but was curious if it had that type of function.  Thank you..

    We are in the process of switching from Volgistics to BetterInpact. We are still learning the database and working out kinks from the switch, but it seems much more user friendly.
