Offering Assistance to Shelter's in California

    Hi all!

I realize things are scary right now in California and shelter's are probably in a panic. I'm the kennel manager at Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue in Hudson, MA and while we may be breed specific and limited on the dogs we can take in, I would like to offer to help anyone in need at this time that we may be able to help. We are a smaller rescue, only 30 kennels, as I did say, we are restricted on breeds (I'm happy to discuss with anyone interested in the types of dogs we can take) and MA is a little on the strict side with regulations for transferring animals from out of state, but we would very much like to offer our assistance where we can. My partner owns his own transport rescue that helps other rescues and even if it is to transport animals (he does cats as well) for other rescues, I'm sure he would be willing to help. I'm happy to ask him if I can pass on his contact information for anyone who is in need at this time. He does travel all over the country for many other rescues as well. I want you all struggling and in the danger zone to know that we on the east coast are keeping you in our thoughts at this time.
