    Curious to see if anyone has considered partnering with your City Council or others to offer a similar program?  The Los Angeles City Council approved a motion Friday seeking to establish a monetary stipend to encourage Los Angelenos to foster animals in the city's six shelters, and to help reduce overpopulation at these facilities.

    It is a great idea, though needs to be managed carefully and potential fosters need to be carefully screened.  The danger is too many people doing this just for the money and not really taking good care of the animals.  Hopefully, some rescues will be involved in the oversight

    Oh wow!!! That is so awesome! I haven't heard of any other municipalities doing this yet but I'll be paying close attention.
