    That is excellent...  Education  is key to animal welfare issues.       This might not directly relate to animal welfare but many pets lose their homes when their caregiver (elderly or sick) passes so planning for animal care if no longer anyone to care for them.  

    Disaster planning???  Again maybe not directly related to animal welfare issues per se.
