    Hi,

Since the release of Bonqat by Zoetis (FDA approved for fear/anxiety related to travel and vet visits), wondering whether anyone is using pregabalin for shelter stress?  And how you would compare it to gabapentin?

NOTE: I'm not employed by or affiliated with Zoetis, just curious about others' experiences.

    Thanks!

    Sheila

We haven't used it at our shelter as far as I'm aware.

Does anyone know how well cats will take it? We tend to have an issue giving gabapentin to cats due to the taste and have tried multiple different methods (in food, tablets in food, etc.).  We eventually figure out a method for most cats, but every once in awhile we can create more problems around food. My question would be how well the flavor is hidden in super tasty food or whether cats reject it as much as some do the gabapentin.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you,
