  • 1.  Profit and Loss Statement Example?

    Does anyone have a simple profit and loss statement they'd be willing to share? Need to generate one for a grant app and I haven't put one together before so just would like to see a "sample".

    I have one that is relatively simple, and that I think works quite well. I couldn't figure out how to send an attachment via a message, but if you send me your email I'm happy to send across and you can see if it's helpful..

    When learning to write my budget proposals, I found this Introduction to Project Budgets from Candid's learning center helpful.

    This is my Profit Loss statement that I've made available to the public.  It is very simple and done on Google sheets, so anyone can duplicate it.  Public Healing Horse Touch Financials

    I use a simple drop down menu (in the menu go to Insert, then Dropdown) for the color coded descriptions of each expense.  This way, I don't have to rewrite them.  In the 2024 tab, there is an even more simple profit loss sample.  When you create yours, you can then download your sheet to pdf format to send out or attach to the rest of your proposal.  Hope this helps!
