I've searched and read but I find most threads are older.

My rescue currently uses Petstablished. We've had it since opening our doors in fall 2021. Currently have it set up so all applications for adoption, foster, or volunteering are completed in the program. We upload all medical records, intake forms, adoption contracts, etc into it. It posts our animals on Wagtopia, and exports them to Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet. We don't use it to register microchips or buy chips - we get them cheaper through HomeAgain and registeration is free with them.
Petstablished can be a tad finicky but overall - I really like it.

We have a new board member this year that says its too difficult to learn and wants to change to a different program.  I've looked at some of the options she's suggested and while user friendly - very animal control feeling or basic/non-customizing. ShelterManager is one. ShelterLuv is another. 

Has anyone every switched programs from Petstablished to something else and loved it? Or do you have a system that you love?

I feel like it needs to be an amazing system to give up all of our history (all the docs uploaded, contact database, etc) but am willing to look at other ones.

Hi Sarah. It's definitely worth taking a look at AnimalsFirst.com.  The software is easy to use, customizable, checks all the features boxes,  and includes a portal for adopters to have access to their receipt, contract, rabies certificate, spay/neuter certificate, and other information about their pets. There's also a foster portal for foster parents to view or edit information, update photos, write bios, add video links, and review and approve adoption requests, based on permissions assigned.
