Hi, 

We just received approval (and a check) for a grant application I submitted through a national foundation.  What is the proper protocol for announcing/publicizing receipt of a grant?  

#1 - Is it proper to publicize?

#2 - Do you include the amount of the grant?

#3 - Does anyone have a sample news release for doing this?

Many of the organizations that we have received grants from actually require us to promote. Some will send you a sample press release and ask you to share your press release with them before you send to news outlets and on social media. Most times we have shared the amount unless we have been asked not to. I've attached a simple press release format that we use. Hope it helps.
