    • Is your shelter a non-profit or municipal?
    • What are your shelter hours?
    • What hours are your volunteers able to volunteer (how early can they arrive and how late can they stay)?
    • Do you allow volunteers to stay and work after staff leaves (without staff in the building)?

    We are non-profit and our shelter hours vary daily. We are open from 8-6 on Mondays, 8-7 on Tuesdays, closed on Wednesdays, open 8-6 on Thursdays and 8-4 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Our volunteers can be in the building from open to close but cannot be here when staff is not. We do have staff in the building from 8-4 on Wednesdays so we do have volunteers on the day we are closed to the public as well.

    We are a non-profit as well. Our Shelter hours are 11-5 every day except Thursdays, when we're open late 1pm-7pm, and we are closed on Mondays. 

    We have dog walkers here as early as 7am, but our staff is also here at that time.  They are not allowed to remain in the building after staff leaves, usually around 7pm (but most volunteer shifts are over by 6pm).

    • Private nonprofit
    • We are open to the public Monday from 12pm-6pm and Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-7pm, but staff are in the building from 8am-7pm almost everyday (Sunday they finish at 5pm).
    • We have volunteer shifts available from 8am-7pm, but the options for what they do at different times are different. We deep-clean every morning, so volunteers can come in to help clean but can't play with the dogs/cats during cleaning. Enrichment shifts start at 10:30am for cats and 1:30pm for dogs. 
    • Volunteers are not allowed in the building without staff present.

    • What are your shelter hours? Shelter hours are Mon-Sat 1-6 pm

    • What hours are your volunteers able to volunteer (how early can they arrive and how late can they stay)? - Volunteer hours are Mon-Sat 10 am-6 pm and Sun 10 am-4:30 pm

    • Do you allow volunteers to stay and work after staff leaves (without staff in the building)? - No we do not...for liability and safety purposes staff must always be in the building when volunteers are at the shelter.

    Our shelter is private non-profit.

    Our public shelter hours / volunteer allowed hours are:

    Saturday/Sunday 11-3 / 9-3

    Monday closed / 9-11

    Tuesday 11-5 / 9-5

    Wednesday/Thursday 11-7 / 9-7

    Friday 11-5 / 9-5

    We do not allow our volunteers to be in the facility without a staff member present.

    • What are your shelter hours? We are open to the public Tuesday - Friday 10-6; Saturday 10-4. Kennel staff arrives at 730am. 
    • What hours are your volunteers able to volunteer (how early can they arrive and how late can they stay)?  The earliest we allow volunteers or community service is 8am. Shifts begin at 8am and go until 6pm during the week or 4pm on Saturdays. 2 hour shifts spread throughout the day they are able to sign up for. 
    • Do you allow volunteers to stay and work after staff leaves (without staff in the building)? Absolutely not. The liability - yikes! Also if they were alone and something happened; like a dog attack, no one would know until morning if they were injured badly enough
