Does anyone have a couple of good, free, fairly short videos to show new volunteers on the basics of handling dogs and some for cats?  I have looked on a lot of sites and am unable to find any free ones that do the trick.  Thanks!!

Tracy, this is one of the best courses I have ever seen on cat and not just for the handling, but also for identifying feral (unsocialized) vs. friendly cats.  It is through Maddies' University  https://university.maddiesfund.org/products/feral-and-fractious-cat-handling

    Hi @Tracy Arvidson

Dog Handling in the Shelter is a free, short, self-paced course on Maddie's University. It has helpful short videos.  You can enroll here: https://university.maddiesfund.org/products/dog-handling-in-the-shelter

Check the Maddie's University catalog for other videos about dog and cat handling: https://university.maddiesfund.org/catalog

    Tracy,

Not sure what they might have "stand-alone" but you might want to check out Fear Free Shelters for their resources.
