Hi Mary- check out Animal Balance. They have started doing work domestically (they used to just do international efforts) and offer the opportunity to come in and do MASH style s/n clinics to address the community cat population.
I would also reach out to shelters in the nearest large city to you and see if you could on a regular basis have a volunteer drive cats to them for s/n. I don't see specifically where you are located, but if you are within an hour or two of Charleston, Morgantown, Huntingdon etc., I'm sure they have some resources. Maybe they would do 5 a week for you and a volunteer could do the drive?

Subject: Spay/Neuter event - how to start
I am with a small rescue group in Eastern WV. We have no low cost s/n options in our area and we need to fix that. We have the potential to get a good amount of ARPA funds for s/n but have no idea where to start. No local vets will work with us on this as most have been sold to equity groups. There is no humane society in our county to work with. With no vet on staff we can't got to Fido Fixers or buy a unit. Can anyone suggest any way to bring a s/n unit to the area to stage and event. I think Bissell does clinics but that would be a stretch.
If we get say 30K for a s/n project how could we make it happen w no vet on staff. Can anyone suggest what options might be available to really make an impact on our cat overpopulation problem?? I'm desperate for any options or suggestions.
Thanks!
