My heart goes out to your sweet senior cat with spondylitis. I've cared for a cat with similar issues, and what helped most was daily gentle massage on his back, a warm heating pad (on low, with a blanket barrier) for 10 minutes a day, and keeping his environment easy to navigate without jumping. I hope you find relief for him soon-you're doing such wonderful work.
