Great minds think alike! I had a very similar idea in the middle of the night, with using our Goat barn vs the Pig Pig yard. Whoever gets the most donations that day gets some sort of enrichment prize but also the donations will go towards their shed payments/etc.
The other thought I had was for an exclusive half time video to be emailed for a donation. We have done this successfully at Thanksgiving and new year's eve with "pig-out" plates (pumpkin puree pie with vegan marshmallows and cranberries and then pancakes for new years eve). Donors sign up by sponsoring a "plate" through our e-store, then our founder and volunteers made all of the pancakes/plates, and filmed all of the animals enjoying their treat. We created an exclusive Youtube video that was emailed out to everyone that donated. For the halftime video, I was thinking if we can make a "concert/dance" video of the rescues with Usher (half time performer this year) music playing.
Happy fundraising!

Michelle,
What about splitting the rescues into two teams, put pictures of them up in little uniforms and as for donations, then you can have people choose a team and rescue to donate to. Then score each increment (every $50/75/100 earned gets you 7 pts. and then at the end of the day who whatever team gets the most points wins. You can even do MVP by whichever rescue gets the most votes. You can go after small sponsorships.
Hope this helps :)

Subject: SuperBowl fundraising ideas
Hi! I am a volunteer/board member for a potbelly pig rescue/sanctuary in GA. I was hoping to do a Superbowl fundraiser, but was curious if anyone has any ideas on how to run a fun fundraiser that isn't considered a raffle? With all of the rules regarding raffles and obtaining permits and tax implications, I was hoping there was a fun way to capitalize on Super Bowl without having to be so tedious with running the common super bowl grid fundraisers.
Has anyone had a great super bowl fundraiser they can share?
Thanks so much!
