TL;DR This is a story about targeted fundraising and the power of Maddie's Fund from the POV of a kennel helping an adoptee

This is what I see every week when a adoptee has their HEART jump the gun when it comes to dogs and cats rescue. They find the perfect rescue buddy and then their BRAIN has to catch up figuring out how to fit them into their life, logistically and economically.

The other day, we found the perfect home for Wally, this cool 6-year-old Pitty. They hit it off instantly. But then, we had to sort out paying for some much-needed dental work for Wally, now that he's out of the kennel. Kind of a "head scratcher", right?

We turned to Waggle, a go-fund-me style program for dogs and cats. Using Waggle, we posted this Wally needs your help | Waggle Crowdfunding for Dogs

Thank you Maddie and Waggle for improving the human-animal bond by keeping dogs in homes. The outcome makes you smile. If you need other ideas this is a good article: https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/are-you-having-trouble-affording-your-pet
