Kyla, hope this is working well. Our rural SPCA has hosted 24 clinics a year for over 8 years and all are fully booked. Word of mouth & social media help in letting folks know the dates.
Prices are set a modest amount below local vet clinics. Local government does provide some funding for low income owners under a Spay Neuter Assistance Program SNAP - can use any funding stream. Search Maddies for a nice sample SNAP form, which in itself, explains a lot about the program. Lower costs do help to keep the schedule full.
Another factor that helps is that our clinic is mobile. This helps in our rural 2-county area in that we schedule clinics throughout the service area, though the majority are held outside our facility.
Hope this helps.
