    We use Godaddy; however, we want to switch to something different. I am interested to see comments on this topic.

    Namecheap for our domain. I've used them for probably close to 20 years now for multiple domains and have no complaints.

    Our current website host is Synhosting. They were good with excellent customer service, the best I've ever had, up until almost two years ago. I think they either sold the company or new management or something, because they became unresponsive and things started breaking. So we're currently looking to switch to a managed WordPress host like WPEngine or WPX. 

    I've used GoDaddy in the past and found it to be clunky and very unfriendly with unhelpful support. Aside from GoDaddy I've used Dreamhost and a few of the EIG-owned hosts (Site5, Hostgator). They were fine for small,  uncomplicated, low-traffic sites, but anything requiring actual resources is going to cause issues.

    I ran into a similar problem with slow loading and limited options on shared hosting. I switched to a VPS from https://ishosting.com/en/vps and it made a big difference. I got more control over the server setup, and everything runs a lot smoother now. Plus, their plans are affordable, which helped since we don’t have a huge budget. Worth checking out if you’re needing better performance and flexibility.
