    What free platform do you use for volunteers to share photos and videos that they've taken of available animals for staff/volunteers to use for social media? We currently have a volunteer facebook group to share photos and videos but not everyone has facebook.  Thanks in advance!

    We use Facebook and WhatsApp! Anyone can download WhatsApp on their phone and it uses their phone number

    Hello,

    We use a few different platforms to capture everything we can.  Facebook and IG are great for photos and videos to be DM and keep the clarity of the video sent. We use the BAND app for our volunteers to set up groups, open chat, self-schedule, get orientation, train, see the open schedule and what volunteers are needed daily, and upload photos. We also have a WAGS Bottle Baby Facebook page to keep information flowing and pics updated.  Our social media has about five people that add to the content, but truth be told. We have the most trouble getting many pics uploaded to our Shelterluv bios but we are working on this being a small job for a volunteer.

    We made a folder in Google Drive for volunteers to upload anything they capture, and we check it occasionally to download anything we want to use. It's not fancy, but it works!

    We use FB and Petfinder. Petfinder is where a lot of our rescues that pull from our shelter look at our dogs. It's easier to upload a video too.

    We use facebook and instagram. We post videos and photos twice a day on those platforms. We have a fb group just for volunteers to help us share volunteer information. We also use twitter and youtube as well, but not as frequently. Also one of our volunteers set up a tiktok for us and posts videos once a week.
