Hello everyone,
I'm Kelli Porti, an Army Veteran and proud member of the Paws of War team.
At Paws of War, we believe some of the most extraordinary rescue stories begin with a simple connection between an animal in need and a person who needs them just as much. Our work ranges from rescuing animals in difficult environments, including overseas and conflict zones, to supporting veterans, first responders, and families through the healing power of the human-animal bond.
One of the things that makes our work unique is seeing how animals often become sources of comfort, companionship, and hope in the most unexpected situations. Time and again, we witness animals changing lives while their own lives are being saved.
