We are considering some redistribution of responsibilities, particularly as it impacts our communications department. So I have lots of questions for you!
1) Who in your organization is responsible for directing, creating, scheduling and responding to social media posts? If it is a staff person, how many hours per week are allocated to this purpose?
2) Which platforms do you use, and which are most effective for you? (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, other)
3) How do you measure "effectiveness" of your social media strategy? Follower count? Engagement? Donations? Other?
4) Does the person responsible for social media have other communications/marketing-related responsibilities?
5) What kinds of posts is your social media person responsible for creating (ex. still photos, graphics, videos, reels, etc)?
If you have a job description for a social media related role that you're willing to share, I'd love to see it! My email is heatherm@catadoptionteam.org
