Time for a little midweek break!  Do you share your workspace (whether that's an office, home office, truck, outdoor space or wherever you work) with a furry, feathery, fluffy, or scaly coworker?

Share pictures or videos and tell us about your favorite non-human coworker.  (Bonus points for funny captions and stories that make us laugh so hard our coffee comes out our nose!)

Here are a few of my favorites from the internet:

I work from home and have two favorite non-human coworkers, Gidget and Dexter.  If you've ever been on a Zoom call with me you've likely seen one or both of them.

Gidget is that coworker who checks in occasionally throughout the day just to see how you're doing ♥️...

...but for the most part she's a slacker ⬇︎
What is this thing you call "work"?

Dexter is the exact opposite. He's that coworker you love but sometimes try to hide from. He's a ton of fun but he's a LOT. Think velcro. He's that guy peppering you with questions. all. day. long.  "What are we doing? What's next? Huh, huh, huh? I'm your best friend, right? Right? Right?" He loves Zoom calls and wants to be front and center at all times.

If he can't be on my lap, he makes sure he's stationed appropriately. He's alerted to any movement from his human coworker and he's ready at a moment's notice.

Right side not working? No problem, he's flexible. How about the left side?

When it's nice out, we work outside. (Emphasis on the word we in that last sentence)

Although he hates to admit it, sometimes work can be exhausting even for him!
    Just resting my eyes

I LOVE my canine coworkers and wouldn't change a thing!

I've been volunteering in Montenegro for 2 months, so I have temporary but supremely helpful new assistants!

My adorable foster kitty Zigi tolerates my fidgets and movements well as I work and he snuggles.  When we get into a groove with him settled on my shoulder, little Niki, seen in the background, joins on my other shoulder.

Zigi   lost a leg but gained a wonderful home in England when his waiting period has passed ( mid-February.)  He settled into his new foster home Friday, as I prepare to return to Seattle.  Having only 3 legs in no way affected his skill as a typist!

Niki will fly to the US with me, where she will enter the elite ranks of Pokeypotpie's Playschool for Wayward Kittens.  I'm grateful that she will receive the medical care and opportunity for adoption that she wouldn't have here in Montenegro!  Maybe the school can also help improve her typing skills?

I, too, work from home #ThankstoMaddie. Earlier this year I got to foster a stray mamma kitty from Lodi, CA while she prepped for the birth of her babies.  Five healthy fur balls in total 😻   Miraculous to watch them grow and be loved by Mamma Cass.  All adopted now ❣️

    Have a look!

My favorite non-human coworkers are my twin twinkies Tessie Toesy the Lesser and Nosey O'Malley the Elder.  They are nothing but cuteness, even though they steal my phone:

    And my favorite office chair:

And try and entice me to take naps:

Please forgive me for having naked cats.  They have each lost three collars this fiscal year, and I keep waiting for a neighbor to call and say they have found six collars with my phone number. If anyone has any good recommendations for collars that these two twinkies cannot take off, we are all ears!
