Florida State Animal Response Coalition (SARC), in partnership with Miami Dade County Emergency Management pleased to offer our Awareness Level Small Animal Disaster and Emergency Sheltering class. This is an IN PERSON event. 

Prerequisites: Age 18 or older (16-18 w/parent or guardian).

This class teaches skills and knowledge necessary to volunteer in an emergency or pet-friendly shelter.

It is FEMA approved and certified by the Florida Department of Emergency Management. This course is required to become a FL SARC volunteer. More information can be found at
