Thank you, Magaly! That is exactly the kind of partnership I envision. One of the ideas behind the Adopt-a-Heart app is to help shelters turn information they already collect during intake into engaging stories they can share on social media. Instead of staff having to find extra time to write each story from scratch, the pet’s intake information can become a starting point for telling the animal’s story and increasing visibility.

I also see those stories extending beyond social media into partnerships with schools, libraries, and community organizations—connecting literacy and storytelling with real adoptable pets who deserve their second chance. Shelters already have incredible stories. The goal is to make it easier for them to tell those stories and for the community to help carry them further.

I think this would be fantastic in partnership with schools, libraries, or other community organizations. Rescues/shelters can bring adoptable pets or share story books on animals getting a second chance to live their best lives.
