I just wanted to share our fading kitten protocol. I know it is a little late in the season, but we are still getting babies so I assume others are as well. I was completely blown away that this worked the first time I used it. I, of course, was used to the whole "keep them warm, give them karo" speil, but I had never seen it given in such a specific way. I had a kitten recently (prob like 6 weeks old, just really malnourished), that started crashing. She was honestly so far gone that if it had been during the day, I would have taken her to the clinic to be euthanized. Being in the middle of the night, I started searching the web and found this basic protocol. I started it, every 3 mins exactly like it states, not really very hopeful. I was honestly baffled that it worked! She made a full recovery and was up and running around the next day! Obviously, it isn't 100% effective, but I thought it would be useful for others to have on hand.
