We are currently in the process of building and expanding our Humane Education Department and related programs. During this year’s Read Across America week, we are partnering with one of our county elementary schools to use the Tails That Teach books alongside age-appropriate SEL activities.

Because this school serves students in PreK through 5th grade, I developed a follow-up activity specifically for the upper elementary grades to use in place of the Activity Book that accompanies the storybooks. I have attached the materials in PDF format; however, both were created in Canva and can easily be edited or adapted to meet your needs.
