Animal Welfare Professionals

We are a cat rescue and social media is an important part of our outreach. Instead of deleting posts, we continue the story because it helps donors see the impact they make.  For example, I have attached a picture of Jeffrey, a cat we pulled from a kill shelter in our region when he was out of time.  We posted a fundraiser on Facebook to help pay for vet expenses to get him adoption-ready, and then we posted his adoption photo with his new mom.  Similarly, when we post fundraisers to raise money needed to treat injured or sick animals, we post updates with videos and pictures showing progress in recovery.  Seeing not only the need but also the positive outcomes for animals keeps followers engaged and shows donors that they are a critical part of creating success stories.
