Hi

I am the Founder of a No Kill Rescue in New Zealand (Franklin Cat Rescue) and have been contacted by someone in Tennesee USA asking for assistance with some kittens.

it seems to be an older gentleman & I would like to point him in the direction of someone local instead of “sorry can’t help”

Did he mention which city or part of Tennessee he's from?

He didn't but I do assume it be the Franklin area (which I discovered on my Google search) I see a few rescues but reluctant to recommend having no knowledge of them, so thought I'd ask here.

Yes, I agree, it's hard to recommend without having any knowledge of them. I don't have any personal knowledge about organizations in TN but I'll ask our team at Maddie's to see if we can make any suggestions. Thanks! 

I'm not sure exactly what kind of help he's looking for but here are three organizations in Franklin, TN that are Best Friends Network Partners:

3. 2nd Chance 4 Pets: http://www.2ndchance4pets.org/ 

There are also quite a few Best Friends Network Partners in Nashville.

I don't know anything about them, but there is a Franklin County Humane Society (www.animalharbor.org) in Franklin County, TN.

just putting another vote in here for Williamson county Animal control. They are an excellent shelter! Another place to try is Nashville Humane Association. Just outside Franklin.

lastly, depending on the situation you can try the cat shop. They are a cat rescue here in Nashville.
