What is the community's thoughts about large shelter dogs being given treats inside toilet paper rolls?  Obviously, the dogs ingest the tp rolls too.....are there issues??

I'm not particularly sure about the toilet paper roll method but we've had members share some other low cost enrichment options for shelter dogs in these discussions that may be helpful for you!

In my opinion, I wouldn't be too worried about giving a TP roll to a large shelter dog for enrichment, even if he/she eats it.  There isn't any nutrient value to it, but the paper is digestible and there isn't enough paper ingested at one time to cause an obstruction in that size dog.
