Our shelter got introduced to the "Shelter animals count/Basic animal data matrix through our Tn. "Best Friends" state rep. When our director applies for a Maddies Fund grant the form that was used was the 'Asilomar accords'. These two forms are very very similar but since we are used to using the 'Shelter animals count' we learned about through "Best Friends" we would like to stay with it.The main reason is that the save rate is broken down into kittens, cats.puppies and dogs. This helps us in that we are trying to get the save rate up on the kittens and cats and the only way of knowing for sure is to keep the stats. broken down.We added another calculation at the bottom of the spreadsheet to readily see our progress. Our director advises me that she does not have enough time to do two forms. My question is: Can we still use the "Shelter Animals count/basic Animal Data matrix" and apply for a Maddies Fund grant..........Wayman Skelton Board member Morristown Hamblen Humane Society,
