Animal Welfare Professionals

We are a small group of about 5 to 6 people who do most of the work in our organization.  I would like us to get some new folks to help, because burnout is starting to happen.  We have talked about having social events to help recruit new people.  What are some suggestions other groups might have?

I would highly recommend having some written procedures in place for exactly what you want those volunteers to do, as well as a training plan for successful on-boarding. In my experience, recruitment is only part of the equation and people abandon ship quickly if they don't feel they're being well utilized and trained. I hope you get some relief soon!
