Hello everyone.  First let me say, I am NOT strong with technology, but I am the only one at my shelter doing anything with technology.  I am very frustrated with my Shelter Animals Count reports and I have not received any helpful advice from Petpoint or SAC.  My monthly reports are not consistent and I don't know how to fix it.  Also, my SAC reports have listed some animals as Euthanized by shelter choice instead of Owner Request, but I have no idea how to identify which animals they are referring to on SAC to look back at individual records to see if it's a data entry error or to identify the problem .  Can anyone help me with this?

Hi there! Do you track owner intended euthanasia in PetPoint as a distinct outcome subtype? It sounds like the report mapping is grabbing those OIEs and counting them under the general euthanasia outcome.  You can check your report mapping in PetPoint under Admin Options > Add/Edit Asilomar-Shelter Animals Count.

If you need more help with mapping, PetPoint has a PDF here with detailed instructions.  Feel free to reach out to me directly (marie@shelteranimalscount.org) if we can help on our end.
