Hi all -
At our next meeting on 8/17 i would like to focus on data mapping, but if there is time i would also like to discuss how we see the higher level problem we should address, aside from the animal transfer.
As I see it we have three problems associated with this:
1. Properly understanding the supply and demand and trying to optimize for the animals (minimum transport) and shelters (minimum cost).
2. Managing the actual transport of animals. Dispatching, routing, etc.
3. What we are talking about now - the transfer of animals between shelters, including as much data as we possibly can.
