As many of you probably know already...weather has been terrible the past few days. Our original flight (OHare Chicago to New Orleans) on American Airlines was cancelled and they were unable to rebook us until Tuesday morning! Unbelievable!
I called around to other airlines in a frantic panic--because we HAD to be here for Monday morning registration and our learning labs--and Southwest came through. Kind of. Our first flight we booked with them was cancelled but they were able to rebook us, and after a long delay at Midway Chicago, a thorough de-icing of the plane, and many trials and tribulations, we got to New Orleans late last night, checked into the hotel, and fell exhausted into bed!

If you are having issues with cancelled flights, I strongly recommend Southwest as they were very helpful, far more than any other airline.
