Does anyone have any data about the quality of life vs length of stay in the shelter. The shelter I volunteer with is currently considering introducing a length of stay before a dog is reviewed for euthanasia. I believe there are many outside factors that would effect the quality of life in the shelter (walking, playgroups, sleepovers, etc..) I would like to show a number of days may not be a reason for euthanasia.
